Spotlight

India (Hindi: Bhārat), officially the Republic of India, is a country in South Asia — the world's most populous nation and its largest democracy. Bounded by the Indian Ocean to the south, the Arabian Sea to the southwest and the Bay of Bengal to the southeast, it shares borders with Pakistan, China, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Myanmar, with Sri Lanka and the Maldives across the sea. Its capital is New Delhi.
