It was dissolved in 2008 when it became part of Ghaziabad Lok Sabha constituency.[1] The last member of parliament to represent Hapur Lok Sabha constituency was Surendra Prakash Goel of the Indian National Congress.[1]

As of 2024, Hapur district was part of the Meerut–Hapur Lok Sabha constituency.[2][3]
